The Challenge
Many modern travel agencies use generic, high-tech, or fast-paced imagery, which fails to resonate with the segment of travelers seeking authentic, slower, and more immersive experiences. Alale needed a visual identity that immediately conveyed trust, history, and the profound depth of their travel packages. The challenge was to integrate a sense of global reach with a feeling of intimate, ground-level exploration, moving away from the superficial “point-to-point” notion of modern tourism.


The Solution (Our Approach)
We designed a unique and compelling logomark that utilizes the classic Penny-Farthing (High Wheel Bicycle) structure to create a sophisticated and meaningful travel symbol:
- The Penny-Farthing Bicycle (Heritage & Intimacy): The choice of this classic, late-19th-century bicycle immediately establishes the brand’s values: heritage, authenticity, and a connection to a bygone era of thoughtful exploration. The bicycle symbolizes travel that is grounded, slow enough to be fully immersive, and personal—suggesting clients will truly touch and experience every location, not just observe it.
- The Globe Wheel (Global Reach): The defining feature is the large front wheel, which is rendered as a detailed map of the Earth. This highly conceptual integration instantly communicates global reach and the agency’s ability to take clients anywhere in the world. It merges the intimate act of cycling with the vastness of the globe.
- Nostalgic and Premium Aesthetic: The design employs a minimalist, line-art approach and a refined, two-tone color palette (subtle gold/khaki and grey). This approach ensures the logo feels nostalgic yet premium, perfect for high-end marketing materials and a sophisticated client base.
